This die is XL. The die measures 14" long x 6" wide ~ you will need a die cut machine and extended cutting pads. This is a large thick die that can only be used with some die cutting machines. Sizzix recommends: Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Pro, BIGkick, or similar.
Thick dies will cut whole sorts of materials, for example: cardstock, chipboard & matboard, craft metal, craft plastic, fabric, felt, flexible magnet, poly foam, shrink plastic, balsa wood, vellum, vinyl, shrink plastic, and more.

I used a silver sharpie to outline the box so I could see where to put the paper when I diecut the box.
