Antique Copper Kettle Teapot 1700s
Tax included. complimentary shipment worldwide.
1700s 100% copper with bronze welded dovetails. Handmade. I found this amazing piece at an estate sale. It was black! But with elbow grease, I could see the diamond in the rough and now it shines. The back story is that these pure copper pots were figured out to cause copper poisoning in the 1700s so people started making them with a tin inside liner in the early 1800s. This piece is pure copper inside and out so it dates to the 1700s. It also has very distinctive dovetails and the spout, both welded with pure bronze. Very rare find and a charming conversation piece. A must have for an avid antique collector. Perfect for everyday use. first-class materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
