Vintage Panasonic White Panapet 70 Ball'n Chain Radio, Model R-70, 4-3/8 Inches in Diameter, Made in Japan. Some slight age scuffing, note pictures. Tested, works. I did not test phone jack. just-arrived 9v battery . It's necessary to aim the radio for finest reception. The sound is a little scratchy, but that was the technology of that era. As is.

The Panapet radio is a round novelty radio on a chain, first produced by Panasonic in the early 1970s to commemorate the World Expo in Osaka. Two chrome plated dials on the surface are for tuning and volume, and a tuning display is inset on the surface of the ball. The Panapet is AM band only.
