These bowls were produced in the USA, and the pattern was particularly in-demand from the 1940s to the 1980s, with specific markings indicating different manufacturing periods (e.g., "Hand Decorated" mark for the 1950s).
This was part of my mother’s china collection and sometimes it didn’t matter if there was damage, it deserved a little fancy having survived that long. Her favorite pieces were blue but there are multiple others to choose from. The rust spots on the backs are from the hangers she used.
