Trees may be trimmed and leafs removed for transport, this does not affect growth, leaves will grown back beautifully. in late July my chickasaw mother tree begins to drop all leafs after fruiting. Browning and dropped leaves during transport late August is to be expected and it is advised you remove any remaining leaves for fall/winter.
